  • After my initial review last November, the manager of Baku reached out to me and kindly offered to send me a gift card to try the restaurant again. I have been meaning to go back but since I travel a lot I was finally able to have dinner there last night. A few weeks back my parents went with some of their friends and told me they had a wonderful experience! I was excited to give Baku another shot and they definitely have vastly improved since my last visit. The service and food were both great! I will definitely be coming back. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered a variety of items but the standouts were the asparagus, the spicy tuna on crispy rice, the lobster & avocado roll, the tiger prawns tempura (not too breaded), and the chirasi. We also loved the chocolate coconut cake - it was delicious! I was also impressed with the drinks - I got the cucumber jalapeño margarita and also tried the strawberry tune. Both were super yummy and innovative. Again, I will say that it is definitely on the pricey side, so be prepared to spend! :) It definitely goes to show that it is always good to give restaurants a second chance, especially one that is fairly new. I appreciate the manager for reaching out to me and I look forward to my next meal at Baku.
