  • This is an amazing place and were so bummed that we had to leave because we had a dinner date to rush off to across town. Vegas isn't just for gambling! This preserve is fun but also highly educational. We were able to experience a simulated flash flood, explore the habitat of desert animals and to learn about poisonous plants and a creative exhibit. We also saw an "off the grid" house that was built by students from the University of Nevada. And there is so much more to see! We will definitely be going back, very soon. Oh! Also the staff was friendly and helpful. They obviously love their jobs! But who wouldn't?
