  • Pretty decent japanese. I still haven't found a sushi place that I love, but I wont give up. I had the popcorn roll, which is a lobster roll with a piece of fried lobster on top. That was good. I enjoyed it. The miso soup was Ok. The cucumber salad looked sad. My salad, which I asked if it had ginger dressing, was eh. Lately, it seems like everytime I order a salad in a japanese restaurant, the "ginger dressing" is some weird mayo concoction. If I wanted russian dressing, I'd ask for it! Ugh. My husband got the uniagi don (BBQ eel). It was a large portion but maybe needed a minute or two to cook longer. They give you lots of free stuff, which is cool, but it wasn't great stuff. The edamame was good, and free, but the other stuff was eh. The prices were good and the service was good too. I just feel the food, could have been better. It wasn't bad at all, and I might go back if I was on that side of town and wanted japanese, but I doubt I'd make the trip from home.
