  • I had calamari at the Mermaid lounge after work. By the end of the night I started feeling ill, by the morning, I realized I had food poisioning. I emailed to the manager informing of what happened and she responded a few days later saying we apologize for your experience, we hope this doesn't stop you from visiting our restaurant. In spite of that terrible experience, we went to the buffet on another occasion and all of the food was loaded with grease - why put oil in string beans??? It also took about 20 minutes for our waitress to bring drinks. There are too many other options in LV to waste money at the Silverton.
