The hospital staff and nurses are great. I need to start with that. It wasn't my physical care that I had issue with. It's the billing department. They coded things incorrectly and refuse to change it (I verified with my surgeon of CH's mistake) and it's a mistake could cost me thousands. I have spent hours and hours on the phone with them and I can get no further than a customer service representative that has no way to fix anything or connect me with someone who can. I'm finally reaching out to an advocate for help and if they won't work with my advocate, I'll have to take this up legally. They literally only have to resubmit billing to my insurance with the code WRITTEN ON THE PAPERWORK BY MY SURGEON...but they won't. They've even SEEN the correct code on the paperwork and STILL won't change the billing. They won't even contact my surgeon to verify and rectify the situation. It's insane. They're greedy and incompetent. They might save your life while you're there, but they'll give you a heart attack afterward (and then screw up your billing after treating that, too). I have been nice, I have been rude, I have been everything in-between and they still can't get their crap together. Absolutely useless.
