| - I bought a Groupon for a PRP Facial---also known as a "Vampira Facial"---I cringe at that name. I don't know how the PRP thing worked because it's only been a few days and Dr. Kelly said it takes about 18 days for all the new cells and collagen to really get going and to start seeing any changes in the texture and tone of your skin. But I am posting about Dr. Kelly, not about the procedure (though I can do an update in twelve days!)
First, I thought the Vampria thing was a joke, it being Halloween and all, but the description intrigued me, so I ended up calling Dr. Kelly's office. (No, I don't watch the Kardashians.) I got lucky and it so happened Dr. Kelly was standing right there and they handed the phone over, and she spent about 20 minutes talking to me about the procedure and how it is done and it's benefits. So I figured what the hey, and made my appointment.
So I went in and other than the slight discomfort of the injections, I had a really good time! Chatting and laughing with Dr. Kelly and her partner , Stan, was like hanging out with old friends. Not that Dr. Kelly was unprofessional at all---I was impressed. When I arrived, she went over the process of the PRP again and asked me repeatedly if I had any questions, then she took me back to the treatment room and showed me all the different tools of her trade---everything was nicely sealed and sanitized and autoclaved and all that good stuff. I never felt any concern about the procedure or the hygiene of the office.
So now we wait and see whether all my little cells cooperate and are inspired by the stem cell serum. Go, little guys, go! But Dr. Kelly also offers several other treatments that would probably make me feel more fab than usual, and I would not hesitate to return to her for any of them.
