  • Background: I purchased the $50 Groupon for basic interior and exterior detailing. Didn't get a chance to use it until now. Shortly before booking, I looked online for some reviews and they were certainly frightening. So we brought in a car that you can't screw up. A Honda Civic that hadn't been cleaned in 5+ years. Lots of salt stains, coffee stains on the center console, talc and dirt in the trunk etc. I figure, they can't make the car worse. So we let's see how they do. Looking online, I figured we would need to upgrade to the Premium package because the basic was vacuum only. The Premium includes steam cleaning and salt removal. Their location has moved to Langstaff Rd. It's a little hard to find. Turn onto Essex and it's the gravel driveway after the Grand Sport Motors. There really isn't any place to park, kind of random. I wandered to the door and peeked in. Like others have said, it doesn't look very professional. Run down, kind of shady. However, I was received by Jed who was very friendly and warm. Quality and Price: Overall, I spent $50 on the Groupon. + $30 to upgrade to premium. I was told that the trunk cleaning was $10 on top, and then there was some vague $5 or $6 fee and something mumbled about tax. When we paid upon pick up, I gave him $50 cash (they take cash only). We were generally pleased with the work on the car (see photos). Jed was able to get out all the salt stains, coffee stains and trunk stains. Service: Jed did a good job, but I wish he was more clear about pricing. He also totally forgot to get me to mark my groupon voucher as redeemed. I did so after I left, but it maybe a good idea for him to try and remember next time, so someone else doesn't take advantage of it. Overall: I get a sense that the place is run really "laid-back" like. The results were well done, but then again, we gave them a car that you can't really mess up on. I don't think it was worth the total $100 price total, so I don't think I would return or that it's worth it to bring a nicer car. Positives were how kind Jed was, and that the car is in fact, very clean. Negatives were the poor booking process (with a million stipulations), and the price. So the 1-star reviews shouldn't scare you off if you bought the Groupon already, but if you haven't, I'd take a look at other places first and compare cost to service provided.
