Andre's Bistro & Bar is located at the previous DW Bistro's location. The layout is almost identical yet the ambience is a markedly improved with richer, deeper tones....French Bistro tones, if you will.
While the dinner experience is rather sexy and romantic, lunch time is upbeat and casual. I have been in multiple times for both lunch and dinner. On my latest visit, my girlfriend and I came in for lunch and ordered the Lobster Roll and Cobb Salad. The Lobster Roll was well seasoned, with chunks of Lobster wrapped up with warm, crispy bread. It came with garlic French fires...I wish I would have asked to substitute with a salad, as I'm not much of a fry eater. The Cobb Salad showed up with bountiful amounts of bacon and chicken. My friend loved her salad very much. Our waiter brought us a warm baguette and butter as we finished our meals...almost felt like an after thought.
All the dishes I've had over 4 times visits has been nothing but delicious. I would like to come on a Wednesday for their mid-week brunch between 10am to 3:30pm.
I am both proud and grateful that Vegas locals have chef Rochart and his team off the strip and in this neighborhood.
