  • Hoover Dam is not really worth the effort. You have to go through security several times just to get there. Once you're finally in you have to sit through an underwhelming movie about the dam. They don't really show you anything of interest while on the tour. They do have a nice observation deck but that's about it. This is one of those things where you can just drive past it and get the whole experience that way
