  • I love Doggie District. I really really do. My dogs LOVE going and always come home and pass out as soon as they hit their beds. It's been great since I have a puppy that has a ton of extra energy. This is why it pains me to only give them 3 stars. When I first started going here the prices were pretty reasonable. It was 35/night for my first dog and then 28/night for my second. However, they recently changed their pricing packages. At first, I was assured that, because I had been a customer, I would receive the "grandfathered pricing". That was great. I really loved how they honored their prices to their repeat customers who continually give them business. Then, about a month and a half ago, they decided to do away with their customer loyalty prices and charge everyone the same amount; what a slap in the face to their repeat customers to up their prices 40%. To board both of my dogs there, it costs me roughly $86/night. Look, I love my dogs to death, but that is a STEEP price for boarding! I'll bring my babies for the occasional play-day, but I don't think I can afford to board them there when it costs me almost 500 bucks to go out of town for a few days.
