| - Great burgers, pure and simple.
The setting of the Burger Bar is simple and traditional, with the exception of small tv's on the wall of every booth. The tv's aren't of any particular interest, they had only two channel, sports and one that displayed some facts about the music currently playing.
Service was exceptional. Our server was very pleasant and attentive, even with the busy lunch crowd.
As for the food it was simple, but it was very good. They have a large variety of shakes, and the mmHg nutella shake was delicious.
I had the buffalo burger in the plain bun. The meat portion was generous and not really seasoned, which allowed for the buffalo meat's strong flavor to be the focal pount. My wife had the chicken sandwich and the chicken was tender and juicy.
The onion rings we were unimpressive, very traditional and bland.
In addition to the onion rings , the only other complaint is the upcharge for additions like cheese and bacon, only because the burgers are so expensive to begin with. With an $18 price tag for a burger, having to pay extra for a slice of cheddar or a couple of slices of bacon seemed like a silly cash grab.
