| - Not too shabby :), but I will echo some of the reviews here and say that the waiting room could be a bit more relaxing. It was super crowded and people were just LOUD. I mean common ladies! How about a little courtesy? :) It felt like more of social scene rather than a place to relax before and after a spa service, but other than that the facility was just fine. There was a self service table with cucumber water, tea, and snack mix. The fluffy robes were super comfy the locker room was clean and orderly for the most part. All the staff members were quite friendly as well.
My hubby surprised me by booking me a deep tissue massage, but I actually ended up calling the night before to switch to the Organic Facial because I was in dire need of one and I had no issues at all with switching my service on such short notice. I loved that they used one of my favorite organic brands by Eminence and my aesthetician, Tiffany, gave me great advice about which products would work with my skin type. The facial was relaxing, but she could have spent more time with extractions.
Overall, the facial was nice, but certainly not the best I've ever had. The best part, though, was that the service came with a complimentary mimosa... what a nice touch! :) I don't get many breaks as a mommy to a one year old, so this was quite a treat! Thank you hubby and thank you Spa at Ballantyne :)
