| - I like this venue! As a disclaimer, I was invited to see a game at the Legends Suite and also received a free parking pass to the Chase Field garage (Normally $20, cash only). I got here about 40 minutes before the start of the game and the garage was already full except for the top uncovered levels so I'd get here at least a good hour before a popular game if you want lower level parking. Everyone here that I talked to was very polite and courteous. Even the people in the garage with flags to direct us where to park said "Enjoy the game" to me as I drove by.
Getting to the suite took quite a bit of walking! From the garage and skyway you basically have to walk, and walk, and walk some more to the very end of the hall, take the elevator up and go through the doors to our very large spacious suite. The views were really quite nice and there are also some TVs in the suite to see closer views of the game.
The suite came with the Legends catering package. It was a pretty nice spread of hotdogs, buns, chili, baked beans, mac and cheese, with various condiments. Everything tasted great together, and I especially loved the mac and cheese which was super buttery and rich. There was also a drink station with ice tea, lemonade and water. I feel like I made myself a liter of Arnold Palmers here since both ice tea and lemonade were pretty good!
Service in the suite was impeccable. The gentleman here in charge of clearing our plates was on top of things.
It can get really cold in the suite though. I was wearing a T shirt and jeans with close toed shoes and my feet were starting to get numb from the cold breezy wind. I was also starting to shiver a bit! I'll have to remember to bring a sweater if it's going to be a more mild night.
