  • An absolutely fabulous establishment! The Lounge is definitely small (I like to think of it as intimate, rather than cramped!), but it adds to the "where everybody knows your name" appeal. The service is fantastic, the drinks are strong, and although there are only four taps, the beers are rotated weekly,so there's always something different (and for fans of domestics, there's a wide selection of bottles). The Friday night bartenders promote a decidedly raunchy West 6th feel (which I'm not particularly interested in), but the rest of the week is more low-key, with lots of friendly regulars and locals - making it nearly impossible to not make a new friend every time you go. If you're looking for a great place with an endearing hole-in-the-wall charm to just hang out, chat, and enjoy a drink, the Lounge is for you. Party animals and mechanical-bull enthusiasts will probably feel more comfortable amongst their brethren downtown.
