I don't like to give 5 stars, but this place deserves it. Every dish was fantastic, starting with cheese curds that were a perfect mix of sweet and salty and chorizo stuffed dates, which paired amazingly well. For entrees I got the chicken and waffles - the cheddar waffle tasted more like a cheese biscuit than a waffle, but it was a worthy partner to the crispy fried thigh, leg and breast that came with the meal. Where do they find breasts this big? The breading was so crunchy you could literally knock on it. My wife got the pork loin which was super flavorful and came with some bomb bacon jam. And both dishes were accompanied with some excellent charred veggies. Finally, we finished with an amazing bread pudding that had an intense whiskey flavor. I don't think there was any sugar in the cream, so you could stir it into the sauce and get exactly the right flavor to your own taste. Definitely a winner and going back.
