  • I had the best experience today at A Pea in the Pod. This is my first pregnancy and I'm 20wks pregnant and ready for my first pair of maternity jeans! After striking out at Macy's, Nordstroms, and Dillard's (no maternity sections) I found APINP. I was welcomed gratefully by two lovely women. At first glance I thought I was in the wrong store as the first paid of jeans I looked at were priced at $198. I said wow maybe I need old navy? But I was wrong! I told Tia my price range (under 100) and she showed me a great variety of jeans on sale for $69. She showed me a few styles and explained to me the different fits and how they will change with the growth of my stomach (stretch room where needed). I tried a few on and fell in love with all of them but chose my favorite pair. Meanwhile my mom was handing me tops from the sales rack (mostly not my style) but I found one that I loved! 68 originally and on sale for 35! I also tried on a few bras for my next purchase which Tia was extremely helpful with. She chose the perfect bras for me (evening and daily support) and was completely honest when one didn't fit properly. These were the most supportive and comfortable bras I've ever tried on (screw Victoria's Secret!) I never felt PUSHED to buy something, Tia was so amazing and sweet that I gave her a hug after checking out. I did browse a bit and the prices are comparable to Nordstroms but the quality is great. I will be back to buy myself some great bras and a few more tops. Being my first ever maternity clothing shopping experience, Tia's customer service made everything a happy and educational breeze! And take advantage of their sales!!!
