One of the best fried catfish I've ever had.
The cornmeal breading on the big hunk of fish is crispy, not greasy, about light to medium in thickness, well seasoned with salt, and the fish was very moist but still nice and flaky. Just...woah.
The above average sized fried chicken breast had a regular crunchy flour batter with a decent amount of seasoning. Parts were a little dry and it just became disappointing with the amazing catfish. I'll definitely go with dark neat next time.
The collard greens seemed to be steamed/boiled with carrots or it had some sugar added to it. A little too sweet for veggies for me. The mac n cheese had a pre crust crumbled on top but it was all a little more mushy and wet than I would like. The little piece of cornbread is sweet and really moist. More like a cake.
It's a little place in a strip mall with a few decorations of athlete paintings and pictures (Suns and Cardinals). The service is straight forward counter-order.
