As many may or may not know, this used to be the place to stay back in the day. They were the first to have all their rooms super sized and hence called all their rooms "suites". The rooms are pretty generous with their sizing. The rooms we stayed in this trip have been redone, but many are still looking tired and old.
The hotel was in quite a disarray when we arrived as there were two fires in the masquerade tower the previous day and the sprinklers had flooded many of the rooms making them unavailable to use. They placed many of the guests that were supposed to stay here, but were relocated to other Ceasars properties on the strip.
Considering all the craziness we were still able to get our room located in the Ipanema tower, as that tower was unaffected by the fire situation.
The drink service on the floor was very lackluster as many of the servers decided to call out and were not replaced.
Overall, many of the Caesar's properties lack the general routine maintenance with their pending bankruptcy still not resolved.
Many of the hotels are now charging parking on the strip. Things are changing here in Vegas and it's just not the same as it used to be. It may be best to just avoid all strip properties and get a bit more of a bang for your buck.
