  • I stop by Zoe's about once a month to see what's new. I'm not sure why. I rarely buy anything. This place is stupid expensive and prices are going higher and higher every time I stop by. As an example... I was looking for a heavy glass bowl to use as a dog dish. I figured I could pick up something cheap. Wrong! The bowl was nothing special, not vintage, in fact it looked a lot like dollar store or Walmart quality, and was marked at $8!! Now I don't quibble about a few dollars here and there but if I am looking at $20+ used items at thrift or antique stores I expect to maybe bargain a little. Here, there is ZERO room for negotiation. The owner holds firm on the outrageous prices, even if you're looking to purchase numerous higher priced items. If you shop here you need to know your stuff around pricing or you could be thoroughly ripped off. Maybe some people have found a treasure or two here but not me. I'll continue to browse but, in the end, I probably won't pay what they want.
