  • They deserve every start they've got! I went to Whitey's purely based on the reviews I saw here and I was not disappointed. My Honda's power steering pump has been deteriorating for a long time now, and I decided to get it changed out before things got worse. I was quoted $2,400 at a Honda dealer back in Illinois almost 2 years ago. I knew that was way more than it should have cost, but I didn't find any mechanics I trusted nearby and figured the pump was good enough to keep going for a little while. Fast forward to today, and the pump was losing power near lockout at both extremes of turning. It was whining, and I decided it was time to change it out. Yelp delivered and brought me to the right team. Every time I got someone on the phone they were friendly and helpful. When I delivered the car, it was the same deal, friendly guy with the right attitude for customer service. On top of that, I spent $600 on the pump with labor, a far cry from what the Honda dealer quoted me back in Illinois. I was also pleasantly surprised that the wheel alignment was half the price I usually pay for one. All in all this is a great auto shop. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family!
