  • Dr. Odle is amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and listens to you as a human, not just another appointment. If you want a great internist, he is it. HOWEVER!!!!! The office staff, less then stellar. I really hope to go back one day (insurance issue) because it's hard enough to find a doctor to trust, it's worse when the staff aren't up to the same par. (Probably won't be welcomed back after this review) Issue one - My husband was five minutes late to his appointment, which they called him while he was on his way, said it would be fine. He shows up and they would not allow him to see Dr. Odle. It's hard enough to get him to go to a doctor, but since this he refuses to go back. Issue two - I called one day looking for a recommendation for a mental health provider because I was in crisis, I really needed help. The woman on the phone stated they have no one they recommend but to call my insurance provider to find someone. I was able to get an appointment a week later and Dr. Olde was very eager to give me names of mental health providers, which the cards for these providers were being held behind the front office counter. Explain that one to me... Issue three - I changed jobs. New insurance. Verified with the insurance provider and Dr. Odles office staff that they took my type of insurance. Went to my appointment, which was a follow-up appointment, I gave the girl at the front my insurance information and she handed my phone back to me and said "Our office doesn't take this insurance" I stood there, she had time to offer me alternate help, maybe a self-pay appointment, maybe I could of been seen under out-of-network - but she did nothing. Mind you I had horrible bronchitis and you could visibly tell I was miserable. I left crying with no solutions. I had my husband call them and speak with the office manager, who works from home on Wednesdays apparently, and she failed to return his call timely. He called back and they still could offer no solution. Issue four - I need refills while I'm finding a new doctor. Walgreens called them and the office stated to them I am no longer a patient. So, if something happens to me because I'm out of my meds, who's going to be the one ultimately responsible? To me this is a refusal of health care(yet again), but I could be blowing that out of proportion... Unfortunately, I have recommended Dr. Olde to a small handful of friends over these past years and all have since switched to other doctors due to the office staff or lack luster PA they were seeing. Dr. Olde - if you by chance read this, thank you for all your help these past few years. I wish I could continue to see you as my Internist, but I refuse to continue to be treated this way by your office staff. I wish you the best of luck with the nincompoops you work with. Sincerely, Heartbroken Patient
