  • I had high hopes for Believe. Magic, plus Cirque du Soleil, plus a touch of gothic creepiness should be a recipe for awesome, but sadly, I was not impressed. I felt like it was a half-assed magic act meshed with a half-assed Cirque du Soleil to produce a barely entertaining mess. Too bad, because Criss Angel seems like a talented illusionist and no Cirque du Soleil show I've been to before has ever been a disappointment. Not worth the $140 plus taxes and fees I shelled out.
