| - I listened to a radio spot offering a completely FREE weekend in Las Vegas. When I called in I was told that my free two nights and three days was completely FREE again. I gave my contact information and was called by Resorts Stay International. they told us that I would have to give a $99.00 deposit that is fully refundable upon checking in, I went for it. Then when I called back to make my reservation time, it was then that they told me the only way to get my $99.00 back was to listen to a 90 minute pitch to buy a time share. Anyhow after realizing it was a con job, I have been waiting for a refund for approximately 60 days. they told me they could not credit my card, but would send me a check. What B'S. and I like a fool waited, I was jerked around for 30 days by two woman Gina & Jennifer from what they say is there concierge office. I was repeatedly told how there is no way to contact the accounting office directly and in fact they themselves could only contact accounting by email. What absolute CRAP. I called the Jockey Club and was informed by an honest manager, that Resorts International or Go Holiday, have some 40 rooms that they Resorts International own, and they told me that Resorts International actually has there office within the hotel. I was given a number and a very professional lady by the name of Willie listened to my story and then put me in touch with Jessica a manager with Resort Stay International. My refund was processed within a few days.Beware, for those of you who don't want to waste time listening to a sales pitch and have better things to do.The time share does not really bother me as much as the lies to get me to pay for something I did not want to do. In truth time shares may be great for many people, but why lie the way they did. Why not just state what it is. If an average individual who does not have the tenacity and or experience that I have, or for that matter someone who does not have the patience to deal with this companies BS would most probably just loose there money.
