| - Went there yesterday after bringing in my Mac Mini for a repair. It needed parts so I got an email saying to come in and pick the parts up. Went in, no problem, guy looked it up on their iPad and said "yes, part is in, let me have your mini and come back in about an hour to pick it up while we install the part." So we went to the Starbucks around the corner, grabbed a coffee and made a few business calls. No problem. Went back to the store and they said "let me check if it is done". While waiting we started to look at the new iPhone 6's. I asked if they had any iPhone 6 in stock. The girl said "let me check, yes we have one left!" I said "great, can I purchase it for my wife who was with me.". The girl said "yes" and proceeded to retrieve it from the back. Meanwhile, my wife and I looked at the cases for the new phone and picked one out. The girl then came back with the iPhone 6. Another gentlemen at he same time, came with our boxed Mac Mini and said we owed him $200+ dollars. When I informed him that it was on an insurance plan and nothing was owed, he said "hmmm ok let me check on that" and took the mini back behind the genius bar but returned saying "yes you are correct, nothing is owed." So that was that with the Mac Mini. However, the phone was another story. The girl proceeded to ask for our credit card, driver's license and began to set up the plan on our AT&T plan as this was an upgrade from our previous phone. She got all the way to the end, and then said that AT&T said we had a business plan and that we needed to call them to make it a customer plan as she had no access into the computers on such a plan. So we said, can we just call here and do it, is it something that takes a few minutes, etc. She said "oh yes, call them it shouldn't be a big deal, just ask them to change the plan and then we can proceed". So being nice, and not wanting to hold her up, BIG MISTAKE, BIG MISTAKE, we stepped out of the store in front of the Toys R Us and proceeded to call AT&T which took about 10 minutes. All done, no big deal. We go back in and she is talking to some other worker at the time NOT A CLIENT. We said "all done" ok so let's get this phone under way as now it was 2:00 and we had come to the store at 12:00 noon for the repair on the Mac Mini. She then informs us that in the 10 minutes to make that call, she can no longer help us, has put the phone back in storage, and that she is now on some other type of Apple device helping people to go see this gentlemen now standing at the front of the store! So we walk over to him, explain the whole story, and he says we must go outside the store and wait on a line in his words "an hour or TWO!" Are you friggin' kidding me? We were just purchasing the phone! She is free as is about 5 other employees, but no wait on the God awful line. So we annoyedly go outside and wait TWO HOURS to get the phone. From the time we entered until we left the store after the phone set up was 12:00 noon till 7:00 p.m.! L'Andre who was our employee after the line debacle was trying to make my wife laugh, but we were not exactly thrilled with our wait time. Instead of assigning 5 or so people to new iPhones when they come out, take more off of the "showing and telling about the new products" line and don't have them standing around chatting and looking at their own phones while paying customers stand on lines for hours. It is aa very badly run store. But of course, that isn't done, because the new people coming in, to them are more potential money. The ones on the lines you see have already lined up to give them money! :-/
