Ritter's is a solid diner. It is clean and friendly. The food is good but not great. Unlike another reviewer, I'm a fan of their potatoes. I also like the broccoli cheese omelette-- because it's a broccoli omelette topped with cheese sauce, and far as I'm concerned, cheese sauce is a food group.
There are mini jukeboxes in the booths--fun!
The prices are fair. You get exactly what you need and pay for. (Somewhat Soapboxy) In fact, I really like that they do not have enormous Pittsburgh-sized portions. You get regular-sized omelettes or pancakes on normal-sized plates. If you're over 30, you might recognize these portion sizes from your childhood. Frankly, I don't want to overpay AND overeat. (End Soapbox)
Some things to note:
--CASH ONLY but ATM located inside
--they are no longer open 24/7 but do serve BLD all day when they are open
