| - I have been coming here for eyelash extensions for less than a handful of months. I had my lashes removed by another place, with more and better reviews, because I couldn't get in to Amazing Lash soon enough to fix what I felt were heavy lashes on one eye and lashes falling out the day after getting a fill. The other place was going to try to fix what Amazing Lash had done 2 days prior. However, upon looking closer, they noted many large clumps of glue even on my natural lashes where extensions weren't present (which I had felt before-clumps-but I thought it was normal). Fixing what Amazing Lash had done by the other place would only add more glue and heaviness to my natural lashes, which is not good for them so I had them removed. After the easy removal, I looked in the mirror and what were my long, natural lashes are basically gone. They are less than 1/2 the length of what I used to have. I was told that the stress put on my lashes from excessive glue and improper application may have caused my natural lashes to break. The new place didn't pressure me into a new set, encouraged me to give my natural lashes a break, & to use a serum to help rebuild/regrow them.
The membership is also not worth it. You still pay about $55/month for the membership (which covers a "free" fill but really that's the $55ish, then in 2 weeks you pay for another fill up front at around $55; so you're still paying around $110ish/month. Other and better, longer standing places charge about the same ($50) every 2 weeks without a membership.
The 1 star is for ease of scheduling and canceling appointments.
The lesson here is to not go to a chain where they hire inexperienced girls just to keep up with the demand of this lash extension trend. (In conversations with girls at 2 different Amazing Lash locations, I learned they hire inexperienced people and train them upon hire). Do your research & go to a place that has been doing this for a while with experienced staff that have been there a while...OR simply try to grow and build on your natural lashes & find amazing mascara. I will be needing a lash serum to help regrow what Amazing Lash damaged.
I don't usually write reviews but I wish I had read a review like mine before deciding on Amazing Lash & causing loss & damage (@ over $400 in spending too) to my long natural lashes.
