  • Goat Yoga LV was a great excuse for my friend and me to get together. We both love animals and jumped at the chance to try it. Based on the reviews, we knew we were in for more of a petting zoo than a solid yoga workout - no problem. Yoga with the goats was surprisingly therapeutic. It was a great opportunity to cuddle with the goats and take fun pictures. Being that this is a novelty yoga class, we were still able to get some good stretching. Just prepare yourself when one of the bigger goats wants to jump on your back. A few of the larger ones were quite heavy. It was not outrageous. However, you might be sore the next day The staff was friendly and welcoming. The goats were very entertaining. For the most part, it is a natural experience, and most of the goats do what they want. They do have food that they will walk around and sprinkle near you, so everyone has an opportunity to interact with the goats. Try not to hog the baby goats (it's hard not to). Although this was a once and done experience for me, I thought it was endearing and would recommend this to animal lovers. The goats were adorable, and the instructors were upbeat and friendly -it was overall an OK experience with five stars for the cuteness of the goats. It is worth trying out if you go in with realistic expectations. Hot Tips: Book In Advance: You will want to go online and check out their availability. Space is limited, and classes are held only a few times a week. We booked out a class for a Sunday in late October, and the class was PACKED! Be prepared for a crowd and plan your class ahead of time. Cash Only - it is stated in the rest of the reviews and online when you sign up. Hit up the ATM before coming for your class. Bring extra moola if you are interested in getting a Goat Yoga Tank or Tee. It would be nice if they had the square app for convenience. I thought about getting a tee but didn't have enough cash on hand. Towels/Water/Attire/Yoga Mats - You are responsible for bringing your own yoga mat, water, and towels for your class. Dress for the occasion and wear clothes you do not care about getting dirty. You are outside in a park with goats and the goats will jump and climb on you. In fact, a few of the goats had some accidents on others yoga mats. Make sure you do not care about the mat you are using or the clothes you wearing. They warn you about this ahead of time. The staff does a great job of cleaning it up right away. I did not bring my studio mat for this reason.
