  • What a perfect winter day! We had a blast at the Colonel Samuel Smith Park skating trail. People of all ages and levels come here to skate and to have some fun on this outdoor figure eight shaped path. It's not a very big trail, but more than enough for a novice skater like me. There's a lot of seating beside the trail on one side to rest and lace up. There's also a building where skaters can warm up, lace up, store their boots in unlocked cubby holes, and even make a washroom run. There's large green p parking lot right next to the rail. Parking is free on the weekends.
