  • Thanks Yelpers! We were in town Sunday - trying to find something new and close by. Yelp provided the answer - over 1,300 reviews with a score of 4 1/2 stars ... gotta do it. SO GLAD WE DID. 5 of us showed up for some Gourmet Taco's. A bit of a wait - but not bad. Not a lot of room to sit/wait inside - and it could be a hot wait on the sidewalk out front on a summer day - but - once we were inside and seated...Happiness ensued. A pretty comprehensive menu - various taco preparations - from a traditional Barbacoa (Mariachi), Chicken Tinga, a Sonoran Arrachera steak, to my choice - the Sonora Carne Asada Burro. Wonderful! Very flavorful, tender and moist meat. My dining companions had a variety of taco's and quesadillas, and everyone was completely satisfied. Lots of wow's every time someone tried something new. The salsa bar was great - only complaint - I like to really dip my chips, and the small cups provided just enough room to put the tip in, and just enough for a taste. They were all very tasty - some much more hot than others. Loved the sweet/slightly hot fresh mango salsa. I could eat just a bowl of that and be happy! Too full for deserts. Well be back again for sure! Enjoy!
