  • I am VERY PLEASED with May's Alterations! This is the first time I tried her, and I will definitely be back! I had a denim jeans jacket that had to be taken in as well as the waistband. I know a little about sewing and knew this was going to be a complicated job, especially since I wanted the jacket taken in where the two double seams with top stitching are on the back so it would be camouflaged. Basically, I was asking her to take the back of the jacket apart and take the waistband off, cut fabric off, and then reassemble it and sew it back together again. I was skeptical when she said she would have it done in four days. I returned a week later (just because that's as soon as I could get there), and I was the happiest person in the world when I got my jacket back! She did an OUTSTANDING job!!!! You can't even tell the jacket has been taken in or that the top stitching is any different. I looked at my jacket outside in the sun as I placed it in my car, and I couldn't even see the seam where the waistband had been take in. I found it only upon very close inspection once I got home. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this very sweet lady!
