Let's start by stating unequivocally that the dumplings, bao zi and noodle bowls are nothing short of fantastic. The meats appear to be high quality with none of the nasty, low-quality cuts that bring down the ratings of so many Asian restaurants. The vegetables are fresh and when combined with meats to create their fillings, complement each other fantastically. The place is squeaky clean and the staff is friendly and thorough in describing the entrees for customers with questions. Dumpling Haus falls short of a 5-star rating only because (1) the ordering system is inefficient with just one register, which resulted in a long wait behind dine-in customers while my takeout sat on the counter getting cold; and (2) the quantity you receive for the price leaves even my young kids still hungry after paying $9 or more for an order. I highly recommend checking it out if you have a little extra time on your hands and money in your pocket.
