One time I purchased a projector. I was so excited to get home and play with it, I left the cords and everything except the projector in a bag on the bus. I knew the bus route so well, I waited for the bus to return, and it did. When it did, the same people were on, they all gathered my bag and held it upfront and when the bus pulled up and I stepped back on, we all rejoiced at how well that worked out. It made everyones day that we are all compassionate. Ive seen some things happen on metro and they have all mainly been pleasant. I have met people I will probably contact forever on the Valley Metro. A real community feel and the staff are so helpful in directions. They know the road! Highly recommend Valley Metro.
I always stood at the front if the bus next to the driver. Recommended as well if you are not feeling specifically social. Sitting is almost guaranteeing some sort of social dialogue.
