Unless they wheel your half dead unconscious body and you cannot express to them to take you elsewhere avoid avoid avoid!
My first clue should have been some of the staff standing outside and smoking in front of the hospital and the church.
I went out of convenience. It turned out to be extremely inconvenient and a waste of 3 hours.
When I arrived there were only 2 people in the waiting area. One was waiting for his transportation. As I stood there waiting to check in a young person seated behind the desk looked as if someone had hurt her puppy and would not make eye contact. So I waited for the more pleasant of them to help me. After about 15 mins I was taken to a dark dingy room. The resident came in. She was nice. I saw a doctor that should have been retired but whatever. He was pleasant. About an hour later I was told I needed X-rays. Another hour passed before I saw another nurse that jammed swaps into my nose to see if I had the flu. I assume I did not since no one returned to tell me the results. There was a man screaming in pain and a woman talking so loudly I got her entire life story. After she finally got off her cellphone she began to scream in pain too. Another hour passed and someone finally came back. I asked about my X-rays and the nurse told me "there are other people here that need our attention. There are people here who are sicker than you". What??? That was it for me. I walked out never to return.
The next day I went to urgent care at UPMC where I was seen and treated in less than :30 mins.
I had pneumonia btw.
