Worst Safeway in the area. Before this Safeway relocated to its current location it was smaller, but a heck of a lot better in customer service.
I find Safeway in general lacks in friendly, issue resolving customer service. I am always picking expired items off the shelf and discreetly giving them to customer service. This particular location is over crowded, has out dated products, cashiers that visit with one another and don't acknowledge you as a customer. It's like they are on break all of the time. Must be nice for them, but not for my customer experience. I have complained to corporate over the years and they never get back to me and nothing gets any better. They get worse. Two weeks ago I went to get pre-made soup, but it was all pulled because it had made people sick. I brought sushi back that was absolutely disgusting...and customer service argued that it is made fresh everyday...yada yada...well then you eat it. I know fresh sushi and this was NOT. Maybe the samples would be fresh....if they had any. Sushi chef just hovered over while I tried to ask questions. Never offered much help or samples. Rather see a Whole Foods or Trader Joe's in this location!
