| - I had a great experience at this community. I needed a short term lease. They accommodated me with a three month lease, which worked out perfectly. The management in the office were friendly, cared about any issues, and honestly seemed to enjoy their jobs. It made going to the office enjoyable.
I rented a 1 bed 1 bath on the first floor. My upstairs neighbors were noisy with multiple kids and pets, but I took that as the risk of being on the first floor. The neighbors were pretty friendly.
I saw multiple reviews in July complaining about water being turned off. The water was out the beginning of July after the first big monsoon. One of the trees was knocked over, which pulled out the water line. They had it back on, probably, within 24 hours. They seemed apologetic by something they, obviously, could not control.
The complex is in a good area, safe to walk around at night. I thought the price was affordable for the unit I got and the short term lease. Other complexes in the area required me to pay hundreds of dollars more for the short term lease, but Rockledge was not much more than their normal lease.
I moved out 2 weeks ago, and received a notice from them. They stated I will be getting my deposit completely back! I've never lived anywhere, where my deposit was fully refunded. Most landlords look for the smallest details to penalize you, but they seemed to be fair.
The maintenance crew was pretty good. Within days of moving in, I put a request for a few work orders. They were all fixed within 48 hours. One of the requests could not be fixed the first day the worker came over. He personally called me to inform me and apologized, stating he would be back the following day with the proper parts. I could hear my dog barking at him in the background. I apologized to him about that, he genuinely seemed okay with the situation, even though my dog is large.
The biggest down fall, in my opinion, is the parking situation. I was assigned one covered spot. The neighbor next to me was horrible at parking his suv. Often times he would be partially in my spot also. Visitor spots were always taken by residents with multiple cars. The visitor spot closest to me, had the same car in it the entire time I lived there. I do not believe it moved a single time. There were more visitor spots on the complete opposite side of the complex from me. So it made it challenging with friends came over.
