Meh.
This was a less than mediocre lunch.
Spongy bun, lukewarm bland hot dog, over salted fries.
The price was okay. $4.50 for a hot dog and fries but meh. This meal was nothing special. The chicago dog had no snap, no kick, no personality to set it apart from a gas station hot dog, unless you want to count the hundreds of poppy seeds that rolled off of the yellow paper that my hot dog was wrapped in. The bun itself was gummy and kept getting stuck in my throat.
I would say to skip this place and go to Chicago Hot Dogs because the hot dogs are much better but they have higher prices and a to go fee that I think is ridiculous. My recommendation would be to go grocery shopping, fire up the grill and make lunch at home.
