I came in the first time with my sister and my husband. We ordered the iced vanilla latte and two mocha breves. The iced vanilla latte was great. We could taste the oil from the fresh roasted coffee beans. Coffee was well balanced with the milk. Vanilla was not artificial tasting. The mocha breves were slightly disappointing because although they tried very hard to make some art, there were white blobs at the end in our drinks only and the taste was not balanced, with the chocolate being on top and tasting coffee at the end, although the coffee was subliminal. Perhaps it is because Joseph roasts the beans in-house.
The second time, I came in and ordered the iced vanilla latte again. Pam remembered my name. Philip was beautiful to watch as he made the drinks. He was on the ball of his right foot as he tried to perfect the art in a cuppa. He also did a great job with the chocolate decadence frappucino. I could tell he loves what he does. I think this makes me want to keep coming back and I am sure the coffee will only continue to get better and better.
The coffee roaster is elevated and bags of beans can be seen. Different countries' beans are placed in different jars and labeled. Their decor is cute with different sayings on the wall for any coffee lover such as "With enough coffee, anything is possible" or "If you're not shaking, you need another cup." They have a frequency card, which I will definitely be using.
I really like this place. I will definitely tell others and be back. I think my favorite is still PublicUs.
