Since Flower Child has opened in this location I have been waiting for the opportunity to visit. I am very familiar with other restaurants in the area but this week chose to take a friend out of for lunch and she was keen to check it out. The service was great at the counter and we didn't have to wait long. I was taken aback at the price of a bowl plus salmon but thought it would be worth it. I was shocked at the tiny amount of food, almost as if it was the end of 'pot' Thw salmon was infinitesimal and, for a moment, I thought it was a joke. $9 for the bowl and $7 for the salmon was ridiculous. I have no problem spending on good food and I would rather have gone to St Francis and paid $10 more for their Superfood Salmon dish or to Sauce across the road, $13 for a generous proportion of quinoa, arugula and salmon. I have never been disappointed with that. I feel incredibly let down as I had high expectations. There are so many great eating places along the Camelback Corridor that one doesn't have to be shortchanged for a high dollar.
