  • Yesterday while on mountain bike ride with my dog, he had a run in with a cactus. Cactus stickers were in his mouth, under his tongue, on his face and paws. He was in alot of pain. I picked out as many as he could tolerate, but knew I needed to get him to a vet. I just moved to Arizona, I don't know anyone so didn't not have any recommendations. I called 2 offices that are within a mile from my house and they both told me they were too busy today . I called Buckeye animal hosp. And the lady who answered the phone was so friendly and told me to come right in! Everyone there was sympathetic and so Damn nice! They had to sedate my dog , and pulled out tons of stickers! The pregnant vetrinarian got down on the floor with my dog to introduce herself to him! I am so thankful I found this great place to take my sweet dog to for his care. If I could give it 10 stars o would!
