  • Hello, I just recently visited a Discount Tire location near my home in Surprise Arizona. The store is located at 16131 W Bell Rd. I scheduled an appointment for a few things including a flat repair. One of my tires had a leaking valve stem which is equipped with TPMS. I was sold and charged $60 to replace the entire sensor. When I asked if it could be rebuilt I was told "no" by several employees because of the type of sensor it was. I just looked on the Discount Tire website and discovered I was LIED to. Both the metal and rubber TPMS Sensors have replaceable cores including the needle valve. This is absolutely unacceptable and an unethical business practice. I will never return to any Discount Tire location and cannot imagine the other types of deceit that occur on a daily basis. This behavior does not represent your organization and it's leadership well. I was looking to purchase a new set of wheels and tires for another one of my vehicles but will be looking elsewhere in light of this occurrence. I sent the same posting to the corporate office and really hope I am responded to.
