  • We ventured here on a Saturday night as I was given a gift card from a friend. I warned my boyfriend that the drinks are great but the food may not be as good. Boy was I wrong. I had not been to Hough's in over 4 years and they changed their menu since my last visit. Not a ton of options but the design of the menu looks great. I went with a burger which came with blue cheese, onions and bacon plus a choice of a side. You could choose from fries, tater tots, or a salad. I went with a salad with honey mustard. Everything tasted delicious and the burger was cooked to perfection with lots of toppings. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and waffles with tater tots. He loved it and it did look tasty. Of course the beer is the best part as they have tons of draft and bottle beer. What I love best is that you can get 4.7 oz pours which is perfect for me who likes to try a number of different beers. I got 4 samples all ranging from $2-$3 including a delicious sour beer. It was darker than the normal sour beers that I have tried before but I still really liked it. Also liked the Shiner Strawberry I sampled. Overall we had a fun date night, fine service and I want to go back to sample more beer!
