  • This place is an overpriced urban outfitters/forever 21. The quality is a disaster. I recently purchased a top here and wore it once.. After washing the item, the tank looked nothing like it did when I bought it. Obviously I wasn't about to wear it again considering what it looked like, so I brought it back to the store (a little over a month later). The lady told me there was nothing she could do since I had already worn it and that it had been over a month (mind you it was only 1 week over a month) and then proceeded to call some other lady over....... That lady (who didn't know the situation yet) comes over and proceeds to comment on how the tank didn't look like what it did originally.. completely oblivious as to why I brought the item back to begin with? Then the first lady tells me that I can't get a refund OR store credit (...what???), but I can pick something in store of the same value. Irritated that I can't even get store credit, I roam the store picking up things that I don't wholeheartedly like.. and eventually settle on an overpriced sweatshirt and a billion pairs of socks. I come back to a register and the guy rings me up blahblah I get my receipt... and then some other guy (looking all irritated--- as if HE had the right to be irritated and I didn't) i'm assuming was the manager comes over and writes "FINAL SALE" across my receipt.. so that I can't even exchange the item in the future. What really irritated me is that these people looked at me as if I were one of those people who takes advantage of wearing clothes then returning then buying then returning... (I've worked in retail so I know how annoying this can be). NO I AM NOT THAT KIND OF PERSON. But I WILL return a $56 tank top if the quality is $H!T! What I also found to be ridiculous was that they didn't offer me even store credit. I was forced to purchase something on the spot and prohibited from returning it in the future. So basically that tells me 1) Topshop doesn't stand by their products & 2) They just want your money -- why couldn't they just give me store credit for future use, considering I'd have to USE it anyway???? I don't shop at forever 21 because they don't do refunds (only store credit), but at least they OFFER store credit! As Kanye would put it "he sells all this shit product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling shit product." PEACE OUT TOPSHOP
