  • Aww! I wish this place didn't get such a bad rap on here, but hey, I'll shout my mirth from the rooftops: I LOVE FOUR QUEENS!!! The bestie and I were in town for EDC. Since it had always been somewhat of a pipe dream for us, we took the opportunity to stay Downtown. We got a pretty decent rate here for 2 queen beds from Hotels.com and off we went. Check-in was painless (thanks Dale!); the room was right off the elevator and faced the Fremont Street Experience. However, because of our night owl concert schedule, the lights and sounds didn't really affect us. The light blocking curtains don't close all the way though... Clean, comfy beds, with a decent TV (channel 2, LVTV, rocks!), nicely functional A/C, ok bathroom. Kinda small. And the shower head, when activated, makes it sound like there's a leaf blower at full blast in the room next door. But our rooms were neatly made each and every day, and we were never bothered. Check-out a few days later was very simple, line breezed by, and everything was readily in order. It looks amazing and grandiose outside, but it is very manageable on the inside walking-wise. Although the employees are wearing these strangely phrased neon t-shirts (you gotta go to see what I mean, haha), they are all very cool and friendly. One qualm: there's an area between the Subway/pizza place and the bank of elevators that is REALLY warm! Sadly, that's gross. HOWEVER! Everything else is awesome. Thank you Four Queens for being our sweet getaway home away from home! Convenience, ease, friendliness and comfort = four very easy breezy Downtown LV stars!
