113 degrees outside in Las Vegas and I was looking for a cool place with table service for my lunch. Drove by Miller's ale House. I have eaten at other Miller's Ale house locations for dinner but never could stop by for lunch before.
The layout of the restaurant is very similar to the other Miller's that I had been to in the past. Relatively dim lighting, lots of televisions, very large bar in the center, and lots of booths around the periphery. As soon as I sat down, Shantei, my server came by to explain that they were specials available and to get my drink water. Well the lunch menu had lots of under $10 specials available, I chose to go with a chicken and shrimp Cobb salad. Outstanding choice! The presentation of the salad was beautiful. Loaded with all of the things you expect to see in a Cobb salad. I was surprised to see how generous portion of grilled shrimp was in the salad. The salad was fresh and had a good blue cheese dressing on the side. At just over $10, a very good value. Definitely will come back here again for lunch when I'm in the neighborhood.
