| - Really really disappointed. So I thought I've been here before and I have not, so I was excited to try another place in Arizona, even a chain national brand. Let's be positive here first.
The ambience is great, white table cloth, clean environment, everything is looking high end, great, done, woohoo.
We get to the "salad" bar. Nothing wrong here, I liked the assortment of cheeses, salads, little sides like olives and the other charcuterie type items were great. My brother told me not to get too much of the salad bar items, I know why. These are just fillers for the real meat. They also bring mashed potatoes and fried plantains (that were terrible).
So my buddy orders a Diet Coke and it's in a glass bottle. Ok cool. Get to that later.
So we get to the "17 different" meats. Now if you are vegan, obviously you will not want to go here. So I'm not vegan and we continue to eat. We get the first couple meats and I'm like ok this is pretty good. Different style with the whole skewer type serving. Then we get to some of the other meats like the garlic steak and bacon wrapped chicken/steak and a few others that were absolutely awful. The garlic steak tasted like a fishy taste and I almost threw up in my mouth. It almost ruined my whole meal. The others that I don't even remember were so dry and almost flavorless I was in shock. I asked for most of the cuts with the crust on it to get some flavor and still not exciting. I mean I tried 5-7 different meats and only had one bite of each. I even talked to my brother and he went to one in another state and it was the same issue. Dry, not great flavor, not juicy, and just overall not good experiences. He even told me he didn't want to tell me so I didn't get disappointed, but I did. The best meat was the lamb. The porks were bad and the chicken was dry big time and a few steak items.
The diet cokes. Ok, so our lunch for 2 ppl with no booze was $85 and some of that is because they charged us for 2 cokes because they are in bottles not from the machine. Don't you think you are making enough for mediocre steak that you don't have to charge for each Coke and then ask if we want a refill 20 times in 3 min?? Makes no sense.
Honestly I just don't think it's worth the price and not that great of a product. Probably won't be back, even though I left with a food baby in me.
