I have been there twice. I'm not sure that I want to give two stars for this. The first time I went the guy who did my hands was really nice and the woman who did my pedicure was really nice. I had them both done at one time since they were trying to get me in an out quickly (I was pregnant and they didn't want me inhaling the fumes) I appreciated that. However I was stuck there anyway since I was waiting on my mom and sister. So I had to wait around while they got full sets. So that was a little annoying but they were coming from a good place so that's fine.
The second time I went (with my mom and sister again - but I was only getting a gel manicure this time). And they had my mom and sister go get their pedicures while I sat alone to get my manicure...kind of defeated the whole purpose of me going to get my nails done with them...so that was a little aggravating. The girl Sophia that did my nails, although she seemed sweet, she was the worst nail technician I've ever had. She told me I couldn't use the polish that I had picked out because it wouldn't show up. Fine, I can deal with that...but each time she tried to pick out a new color for me it was completely opposite of what I wanted. So I settled for a color that I didn't really want, but again I can let it go. When I was done, I had the gel on my skin, so she tried to fix it and in trying to do that she screwed it up even more. I just chalk it up to "It's not my day" and I go to pay. Then the lady(who works there) stops me and asks what color I got and I show her. She then inspects my finger nails and has me follow her back to where she is going to "fix" them. So that happens and less than five days later the gel manicure is peeling.
What this a rare occurrence? No, my mom and sister have both had Sophia do their nails since then and they were the worst manicures they've gotten. Polish chipped or nail has fallen off within a week.
IF I go back, I will make sure that I do not have Sophia do my nails. Again, very sweet girl. But pretty ridiculous to spend money for a gel manicure that doesn't last five days.
