They're lucky I have to give a star. We moved into our new house on 4/7 of this year. I called last week Monday (4/7) and was told their system was down to tell me if someone had to actually come out or not to get our gas turned on and that they needed our lease. Fair enough stuff happens. So I get the lease to them and they tell me they can come out Monday (4/14) and if no one will be home, to leave a key under a rock by the door, I informed the woman I was speaking to on the phone that is what we would do since we work 9-5 jobs and she noted it on our account. Did that before leaving for work Monday 4/14 and came home to a notice on our door saying, "sorry we missed you our gas tech stopped by today to turn on your gas" nothing more nothing less and no phone call to either one of us to see if there was a key (even though I was told it was noted for the tech). Their call center hours are from 8-5. How is anyone going to know they missed the tech and be able to figure it out that day if they aren't open past 5? Really unfortunate this is who we are stuck with. And we really don't want to go another day taking cold showers! Pretty peeved regarding this situation. And I do not recommend southwest gas to anyone if they can help it.
