I enjoyed having CenturyLink Prism and internet at my apartment during February and March of this year. I moved into a house in April where Prism (their television service) was not available. I requsted a cancellation of the television service and also the internet as I had signed up for the internet only as an add on to the television service. The agent told me they would waive the early termination fees along with cancelling the services. As my bill retained the termination fee throughout April, I called every week talking to different agents. At no time did any of the different agents say the early termination fee was not going to be waived. I assumed it was a clerical error. Today, for the first time, an agent told me it would not be waived, when I talked to the supervisor, she said it was NEVER waived. The $200 fee that I must pay is my lesson for finding out 5 different agents lied to me about the fee. The supervisor also informed me that there is a special notation in my account to ensure I return all the equipment.(DVR, router and power cords) or that I will be charged for them. (As I had told a previous agent I would drop them off to save them a trip), this comment really pushed me to write this review and warn possible customers.
