The chef/owner of the place is Chef Steven. He's cool. The sushi he makes is a perfect balance of rawness and cooked goodness. I, personally, do love the taste of raw tuna and salmon as long as it doesn't taste too 'raw' if that makes sense. We loved all of the rolls we ordered (DHA, Maui Maui Roll, and red volcano). I highly recommend any of them. You can taste the great quality of the fish they get. Chef Steven is also very friendly and passionate about his restaurant so just him being there creates a great atmosphere.
Unfortunately, there was one server that kinda killed he whole vibe. I read one review and it seems they've described her as well. She basically just dropped off the menu on our table and left. The older Asian lady was much, much nicer...so she saved it.
Judging overall, we'll most likely come back here. We really liked the restaurant, the food, and the chef. Feed me with some good food and engage me in some good conversation, and you've won me over. That's good enough for me.
