| - Don't do it!! I want to like this place because it's right down the street from where I live, but i wouldn't go back if it was next door. I swore after my last pedi, I'd never go back! But I let the convenience fool me again.
I went in on Sunday with my 3 year old to get manicures. First, they don't even put her next to me, then they try their best to up sell me to acrylics. They switched me to Lily when i said I wanted Gel polish. She is the worst. I wish i read the other reviews but I wouldn't have known who LIly is anyway. It's not like they introduce themselves. My daughter was done by the time i was still soaking. Clearly, they have no clue how to time manicures for kids. It was the worst Gel manicure I've ever had! She left about an 1/8 inch on the side and said that's the best she can do. WHAT? I insisted she fix but now the sides are dull since she didn't put the top coat after attempting to fix the sides. SHe sawed my nails down as if i were getting fake ones and destroyed what I had left of a nail.
I left but then walked back in to change my tip, because in the light, they were awful~ when i was paying, Lily was hovering over the counter. So I felt almost bullied to leave a good tip and said $6. I later found out after coming back in to change it, that she gave herself $5 and the guy who worked on my kid $1. I asked if that was allowed and the receptionist said "no, she should've asked you" I switched her tip to $3 and asked for the managers name and number. However, I'm afraid my complaint would fall on deaf ears. oh and when I said $6, Lily jotted her notes (which was giving herself $5 and coworker $1, and never said thanks or goodbye) I said bye, silence. I guess asking her to fix my nail was too much for her to handle.
Oh and don't let the offer for the drinks fool you. They didn't offer me water. Even after my 3 year old said "I'm thirsty." Do yourself a favor, and trust the YELP reviews. I've given them a handful of tries and it's worse every time. How do they even stay open?
